About BMW X6 ActiveHybrid Reviews

When you first hear about a 480 HP hybrid, you think it’s just a joke. That’s because the general opinion regarding hybrids is some sort of slow, frugal machines that save the planet one polar bear or baby seal at a time. Well, BMW thought otherwise, and decided to create ‘the most powerful hybrid in the world”, the X6 ActiveHybrid. We drove it around this summer, so let’s see what we found out:About BMW X6 ActiveHybrid Reviews

Looking from the outside, it’s hard to spot the differences between this beast and a regular X6. The trained eye will notice the power dome in the hood, the special Titanium Silver paint, as well as the special 20-inch Aero wheels which lower drag. Of course, you will also spot the ActiveHybrid badges, which tell the world that even though you have a monster of a car, the aforementioned polar bears or baby seals are still being rescued.

Interior
On the inside, you’ll still have a tough time spotting the differences between a regular X6 and the hybrid version. The only major difference is in the lower part of the tachometer, where instead of the active fuel consumption, you now have a charge indicator for the battery pack that powers the electric motors.

Besides that, however, everything’s normal, including the lovely cup holders. One thing still puzzles me though, why doesn’t the X6 have any dedicated handles on top of the doors. The driver may hold onto the steering wheel in tight maneuvers, but due to the 480 HP always lurking under the bonnet, the passengers might want something else to hold onto, not just the handles in the door covers.

Photobucket

On the road
This is the part I’ve been waiting for the most. The X6 ActiveHybrid has 3 engines: a 400 HP and 440 lb-ft of torque twin-turbo 4.4-liter gasoline one, as seen on the X6 xDrive50i, but with slight alterations, and two electric motors, capable of 91 and 86 HP, respectively.

For those who passed basic calculus, you’ll probably figure out that 400 plus 91 plus 86 doesn’t exactly equal 480. This is because the engines aren’t always running on maximum capacity. On speeds under 25 mph (40 km/h), the gasoline engine doesn’t do anything, and the motors are providing zero emissions travel. If you step on the gas a bit more firmly, the massive twin-turbo 4.4-liter springs to life, growling under the hood.

Photobucket

You get used to this sensation pretty easily, and it really puts a huge smile on your face the fact that you can drive around slowly, and at just one press of the gas, you’re emitting sounds worthy of a motorsport race. The electric motors tend to help out in the acceleration department, or anytime you need a bit more torque. When the car is cruising at highway speeds, the electric motors are on full capacity, while the gasoline engine gets used less, in order to reduce consumption.

The technology sounds impressive, but how does the X6 ActiveHybrid handle on the street? Sadly, not all that great. When I heard about the power output, I was expecting something a lot more exciting. Even the 7 Series, which is practically a boat on wheels and has less power, was more fun that this one.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s powerful, the engine sounds great, but you kinda expect something more. In overtakes, if you don’t put the gearbox in sport mode, you don’t even feel you’re driving a 480 HP car. Also, the suspension system is a bit stiff, especitially for an SUV, but if you think about it makes sense, because it’s needed to keep the car under control.

When I took it around the city, the reading was around 15-16 mpg (US). When I took on the highway and national roads, with plenty of overtakes, you would’ve thought that the gas tank sprang a leak, as the average didn’t get better than 11 mpg.

Needless to say, it’s not even close to the official fuel estimates. After three days and 620 miles (1,000 km) traveled, the average was 13.8 mpg. While some may say that it’s a lot, for a 2.5 ton beast, with a 0 to 62 mph time of 5.6 seconds and 480 HP, it’s a bit decent.

Overall
Even though my expectations were quite high, the BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is a pretty sensational car, with a great interior. Still, factoring in the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions (which aren’t low at all), the ActiveHybrid badging only shaves off a bit of the guilt you will have for buying an SUV in order to save the planet. Basically, and without bad intentions, this is more of a proof of concept for BMW, made for bragging rights, than a real hybrid for the future.

Pricing is also a real headache. In our country, the X6 ActiveHybrid starts at $111,499 (without value added tax), and the model we had was a whopping $148,000, a whole lot more than an xDrive50i or a heck of a lot more than an xDrive35i model. In the USA, pricing starts at $88,900 MSRP.

Still, even though I find it useless, I’m glad it was built and that I had a chance to drive it.

We liked:
- the briliant sound of the gasoline engine;
- the overall look, more aggressive than the regular X6;
- the handling outside the city, on the open road.

We didn’t like:
- the huge price;
- the bad fuel average;
- the handling inside the city.

A Great Top Five NHRA Championship 2011

Photobucket
NHRA Championship
A Great Top Five NHRA Championship 2011, take a look :

A Great Top Five

Of the top five, two cars have lagged a bit: Larry Dixon and Spencer Massey. Dixon hasn't been to a final in awhile - yes, that sounds strange but true. Since winning Denver a couple months ago, Massey has only one semifinal and no finals. This is hard to do but I'll check them off the list of possible champion.

It gets tougher than splitting hairs now. Many runner-ups but then a first round loss at Indy makes me think this may not be Schumacher's year so I'll have to eliminate Tony.

Del Worsham versus Antron Brown. Worsham has been the best car over the course of the year. Brown has been the best car over the last two months - he has won three of the last four events including the last two. I believe we have the answer with the Indy final between these two … which Brown won.

So Antron Brown is our Top Fuel champion for 2011. Much will probably be made of the fact that Antron Brown is a black American and the first to win Top Fuel. Does it matter? Not to people in drag racing who don't pay attention to what someone's color is. So we'll leave that to others.

Brown is one of only a select group who have won meets in two different pro classes (several wins in Pro Stock Motorcycle). He will have to thank his two crew chiefs, Brian Corradi and Mark Oswald plus the car's owner, Don Schumacher who had the foresight to see Brown, the bike rider, as a Top Fuel pilot and eventual champion.

It will make for a great story. Don't agree? Okay, let the playoffs begin and we'll find out. Happy racing..!!

Funny Car have original connections to California

funny car
Funny Car have original connections to California. Drag racing got its start in the desert salt flats of Southern California and the state became the birthplace of drag racing .
Late in the '60s, Funny Car developed and by the '70s, arguably were the most popular cars in the sport. Advertising not only said 'Sunday, Sunday, Sunday' but also giant fields of Funny Cars appeared with additional advertising stating '64 Funny Cars'. And I saw these huge fields in person - it was amazing.

Whether that's the reason or not, the current drivers in Funny Car have original connections to California. And there seems to be more Funny Car drivers who come from California, with many still living here, than any other class. Here are the ones we know about who are currently in the points standings.

Mike Neff - Neff grew up in Hemet, which is about as close as you can get to the desert without officially being in the desert. He worked with other Californians like Larry Minor, Joe Gibbs, Cory McClenathan, Gary Scelzi and of course, John Force.

Robert Hight - If you didn't know already, Hight is the son-in-law of John Force. Hight is originally from Alturas, which is in the far northwest of the state. He still lives in Anaheim Hills.

Jack Beckman - Originally from San Fernando and the Southern California area, he was introduced to the sport by his uncle John, who I happen to know.

Cruz Pedregon - From Torrance, Cruz is the son of the famous early dragster driver Flaming Frank Pedregon who was a friend of my father. You can add Cruz's younger brother Tony to the list, too.

Ron Capps - Originally from San Luis Obispo on the Central Coast (where I now live), from what I know, he still lives in Southern California.

John Force - Bell Gardens is Force's birthplace and he still lives in Yorba Linda - and next door to where my cousin lived for many years.

Actually when you look up the older drivers and those who have retired, the list grows. Of course, other classes have Californians too but Funny Car has by far the biggest field. And if it seems we're just all one big family, we are (see related articles).

Again, whether the Funny Car fever or the movie Funny Car Summer back in the '70s created this phenomenon is for sociologist to figure out but Funny Car drivers come from the Golden State.

Hey man, I know dude, maybe it's like the laid back California attitude that does it? Cool dude.

Fastest ,Fantastic and Most Expensive Car In the World Bugatti Veyron . One car that is favored by the high and mighty in the higher echelons of society is the Bugatti Veyron. One thing worthy noting is that, this car is not only the world’s fastest car, but also the most expensive and bestselling car in the world. This beautiful car is assembled at Molsheim in Alsace (France) by Bugatti Automobiles in collaboration with The Volkswagen Group. This car which measures 4,462 mm length by 1,998 mm width by 1,159 mm height and weighs 1,888 kg is a 2-door coupé with a targa top.

World’s Fastest Car

The chariot is a display of power on wheels with its powerful 8.0 litre, sixteen cylinder turbocharged 1,001 metric horsepower engine which enables it to sustain a permanent all-wheel drive through its 7-speed transmission gear system and can attain a top speed of 431.07 km/h (Bugatti Veyron Super Sport).

The manufacturer claims that it can accelerate from a speed of 80 km/h to 312 km/h in 22 seconds and also decelerate from 400 km/h to a standstill in 10 seconds within 500 meters. This top speed is however limited electronically by the producer to 415 km/h to protect the car’s tires. At this speed, a lot of heat is generated which led to the installation of a total of ten radiators with 3 for air-to-liquid intercoolers, 3 for engine radiators, 1 for air conditioning, 1 for the oil radiator, 1 for the differential oil radiator and 1for the engine oil radiator (Most modern vehicles have only one radiator).

Photobucket

The Bugatti Veyron is acclaimed as the world’s fastest road-legal car. At a speed of 220 km/h, the car’s hydraulics are automatically designed to lower the car’s ground clearance to an average of 9cm (Its normal ground clearance is 12.5 cm) which simultaneously deploys a wing and a spoiler to improve the vehicle’s maneuverability that helps to keep the vehicle on the road. For top speed driving, a special key is flipped on the left of the seat which checks car’s conditions before retracting the rear spoiler while shutting the front air ducts. The ground clearance then automatically drops to 6.5cm (almost hugging the ground for greater stability) before the car accelerates towards the 400km top speed where it consumes 45,000 litres of air during each minute (It is claimed that a normal man uses this quantity every 4 days).

This admirable car which has customizable interiors and exterior colours was designed by JozefKaban of the Volkswagen group and dedicated to Pierre Veyron (A French racing driver) has in the past been named Car of the Decade (2000–2009) by Top Gear (BBC TV).

Equipped with Gandini's acclaimed appropriation scissor doors, it has a bottle agent awning that provides a appearance of the V12 agent forth with a speed-sensitive cyberbanking rear accession that can be aloft at the flick of a switch. The shift-knob is placed afterpiece to the disciplinarian so that beneath time is taken to shift. Five pre-production prototypes with aluminum anatomy were built, followed by eight with blended chassis. Following these, it is believed that alone 95 GT and 31 SS accumulation models were constructed.

Look 3 Expensive Cars Worth the Price

PhotobucketPhotobucketLook 3 Expensive Cars Worth the Price. expensive stuff that's good, certainly with the quality that can rely and guarantee comfort while driving three cars following, let us refer to both the luxury and sophistication of the three cars below:

BMW X5 ,The little Luxury SUV
MSRP: $47,200 to $63,800
Luxury's nice, but luxury combined with utility will help a carmaker earn that high price tag every time.

Few luxury cars of any kind, never mind SUVs, fulfill their price's promise quite as well as the X5. This little luxury SUV that could gets a lot of help from fun toys such as a panoramic moonroof with two-piece glass panel, automatic front climate control with separate left and right temperature settings, automatic tailgate with opening and closing feature, front and rear parking distance sensors, rearview camera, a heads-up display on the windshield, Sirius satellite radio, HD radio, rear entertainment center for the kids and a navigation system with traffic alerts.

It's that third row of rear seating and engines that range from the 269-horsepower, 26-miles-per-gallon diesel V-8 of the xDrive35d to the 4.4-liter, 400-horsepower V-8 of the xDrive50i that keep the X5's prep-school parents happy, though.

How happy? Enough to make the X5 BMW's third-best selling line behind its 3 Series and 5 Series this year and to increase the X5's sales 2.7% year to date over last year, while the 3 Series posted a 4.9% decline during the same period.

This has all combined to give the X5 the best resale value of any luxury utility vehicle, according to Kelley Blue Book. The xDrive35d's 26 miles per gallon doesn't exactly make it a gas sipper, but it does give owners reselling them more for their money than any other luxury hybrid or diesel SUV.

PhotobucketRolls-Royce Phantom Bespoke,amazing
MSRP: Starting at $380,000 to $447,000
Plenty of cautious car buyers with more cash than they can count have had their luxury cars plated and gilded into monuments of automotive excess. Rolls-Royce buyers, however, have had the luxury of letting the factory trick out their rides decades before "bling" entered the lexicon.

According to Mike Fox and Steve Smith, authors of Rolls Royce: The Complete Works, former Soviet leader Vladamir Lenin had his Rolls-Royce fitted as a half-track to slog through the Russian snow. Media magnate William Randolph Hearst wedged a bar, table and rolltop desk into his mirrored Rolls, while India's Maharaja of Nandgaon outfitted his with a steering wheel made of elephant tusks.

Even in modern times when interior animal touches are usually limited to leather and the occasional feather stuffing, Rolls Royce's Bespoke team is still in high demand. The automaker announced this summer that it would be doubling the size of the custom projects team at its Goodwood, England, headquarters by the end of the year to meet the demands of such customers as bedding bigwig Michael Fux, for whom the company created a candy-apple red carbon fiber interior and paint for use only in his automobiles, or the attendees of a luxury expo in Guangzhou, China, five years ago who got the first look at an extended, armor-plated, bulletproof version of its Phantom that sold for $3.8 million.

"They can color match a car's paint or interior leather to a pair of shoes, they can build an interior intended for the highest level of safety and business protocol or simply offer an indulgent interior with cigar humidifier and wine refrigerator for somebody who wants to travel in comfort," says Brandy Schaffels, senior editor and content manager for automotive cost comparison site TrueCar. "If you've got money to burn and want to travel in the highest level of comfort and safety, they are the car company to help you do it."

Volkswagen Race Touareg 3,eleghant
MSRP: $180,000 to $400,000
That Touareg that's dropping kids off at soccer practice in your town this afternoon is just the conservative cousin of a far bigger version that's kind of a big deal overseas.
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Volkswagen's Race Touareg 3 won this year's Dakar rally, cinching the third-straight rally win for the Touaregs with a little help from a Kevlar-and-carbon fiber body, rooftop cooling systems and high-strength steel frame with springs and dampers at every corner. That 2.5-liter, 300 horsepower engine that allows it to top out at 117 mph on rally surfaces ranging from deep mud to gravel to broken asphalt roads is a nice little throw-in as well.

Usually these beasts are restricted to the off-road circuit, but Volkswagen surprised the auto industry shortly after its January win at Dakar by unveiling a street-legal version of the vehicle later that month at the 2011 Qatar Motor Show. The Red Bull decals and rally numbers were replaced with gray metallic paint, but the roll cage, sport seating and twin-turbocharged 2.5-liter engine and its 0-to-60 acceleration of under six seconds remained intact.

Given that the vehicles haven't been seen much since Qatar, there's a strong chance you won't be able to get your hands on one unless you came to the show with checkbook in hand. Race Touaregs and other rally cars have a tendency of selling right on the Dakar rally website, though. A 2006 model was selling for $67,000 earlier this year, but the standing $219,000 price on a 2007 version of the Touareg's toughest competitor -- the "X-Raid" version of the BMW X5 -- seems a lot closer to what rally enthusiasts can hope to pay for this year's. See Also BMW X4

How do you agree with the price and luxury they offer as an expensive cars with these fantastic prices.

California Had a Treasure Trove of Classic Cars

PhotobucketCalifornia is a beautiful city. there is a place that perhaps you have not visited or been through there but do not drop in and view the contents of the place.Big as it is, Canepa Design is easy to miss. The discreet boxy building sits just off a busy street in the quiet northern California town of Scotts Valley, just up the winding highway from Santa Cruz. But for car lovers, this place beams like St. Peter’s, an inviting treasure chest stuffed with classic automobiles worthy of pilgrimage.

Vintage racing Porsches rub sheetmetal shoulders with iconic ‘60s Ferraris, which sit mere wheel-wells away from the last Shelby Cobra to exit the factory gates. Some vehicles are being restored for their wealthy owners, others are being spiffed up to hit Canepa Design’s showroom, while a few enjoy some mechanical pampering before being returned to their places of honor upstairs in the on-site motorsports museum.

“I never get tired of coming to work,” says Bruce Canepa, the racing driver who since 1980 — the heyday of his professional exploits behind the wheel of all manner of Porsche beasts — has quietly turned Canepa Design into one of the foremost auto restoration and classic car sales shops in the nation. “Besides, I’m too obsessed with being in control of all the details to stop coming in.”

Photobucket

Obsession and control can be a dangerous cocktail. But not in Canepa’s case. His hands-on personality means the cars coming out of this 70,000-square-foot shop often exceed the exacting standards of his monied clientele. When Canepa leans over the exposed engine bay of the aforementioned 1967 Cobra 427, he points out that “everything on this car is original, but everything on it has been brought back to as-new condition, every nut restored, every wire re-wrapped. We even disassemble and restore the wiper motors.”

Every aspect of this blue beauty gleams, from its reconditioned leather seats to the chome bezels on its gauges. “We’ve got 2,600 man-hours into this already,” Canepa says with almost fatherly pride. Though Cobras can be million-dollar cars, Canepa’s already has much more lobbed at him for this baby. For now, he isn’t selling, and instead plans to drive the car next year at events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Carroll Shelby’s Ferrari-killing machine.

The stories pour forth as Canepa strolls the immaculate shop - you can literally eat off the floors — where technicians quietly tinker on the stuff of childhood fantasies. To get hired here, it helps to have a resume filled with top-shelf racing team experience. Canepa says it’s not uncommon to take a year to find the right shop employee. But having the right people means that Canepa Design doesn’t have to send cars out for any ancillary work.

“Other than chrome, the cars stay with me, which means I can get them back to my customers even faster,” he says. Given the famous names that favor this shop - from well-known comedians to titans of industry — it’s critical to deliver top product on time.

Today, the show that is Canepa Design boasts a stellar cast. There’s a silver Porsche 959 undergoing some work to further modernize what in the late 1980s was the definitive state of the sports car art. Nearby, a stripped-to-aluminum “outlaw” 1960s Posche 356 is fitted with a unique powerplant while it awaits an interior. And walled off by see-through plastic is but a frame, the beginnings of what may prove to be one of the most talked about classic cars of 2012 when it finally leaves this shop.

“This should be something,” says Canepa, looking at bare metal beams fitted topped by a radiator that bares a singular word: Duesenberg. “This is the first Duesey passenger car ever made, number one.”

The car belongs to a scion of the Dole Food Company, who wants to bring back to life a forgotten and rusted car that once did duty on the family’s plantations in Hawaii. Though it doesn’t look like much right now, it promises to one day look just like it did the day workers finished their hand labor some 90 years ago. If not better.

“I’m a bit over the top on things,” Canepa concedes, pointing to a million-dollar Ferrari that came in apparently requiring only a tune-up. “Look at the list on the windshield. It’s stuffed with things I found that it needed.”

And indeed it is. Typical is a note on the Ferrari that reads: “Wipers too slow.”
if you are interested to see and come to California to see these classic car treasure?

FRANKFURT AUTO SHOW Result with Hotter Rumours

PhotobucketPhotobucketFRANKFURT AUTO SHOW 2011 Result with Hotter Rumours, Hot Models and New cars. This is the news coverage about the 2011 Frankfurt auto show that is sure full of new things about new cars, interwoven cooperation between the manufacturer of the car world. At every big auto show the spectacle of car company bosses being chased by hundreds if not thousands of hungry journos is the backdrop for a raft of new model and concept car introductions. It’s all high drama mixed with slapstick comedy. Entertaining stuff.

And so it was this year at the biennial 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, a massive affair that sprawls over 11 different halls.

As Daimler was rolling out its new B-Class compact, we also heard talk of a Daimler tie-up with Nissan to share a small-car platform for the Infiniti brand. Daimler chief executive Dieter Zetsche and Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn have already inked an alliance, so this one makes some sense as a next step. Small-car economics are making for strange bedfellows in the car business.

Or what about suggestions that Volvo is thinking about building a new plant in North America? Ontario? Not a chance.

But Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby did hint at having a having “a North American industrial footprint,” reported Bloomberg, even as the Chinese-owned Swedish car company is building a new plant in China. Yes, you need a scorecard to keep track of who owns what in this industry.

Same for the concept cars and Volvo had an interesting one. The Concept You hints at what Volvo officials mean when they say Volvo is moving up-market. The car has seatbacks tailored like grey flannel suits – very business-like – and is loaded with new technological ideas. For instance, the touch-sensitive central control panel in the cockpit stays in “sleep” mode until a driver stares at it. Infrared cameras that pick up visual cues, thus waking up the control panel.

Audi? The Volkswagen Group’s money-printing premium brand rolled out some 10 new models at this show while also touting an increase in its worldwide sales forecast for 2011 to 1.3 million vehicles. That means Audi could pass Mercedes-Benz to become the world’s No. 2 premium brand by sales, just behind BMW. Mercedes is expecting its global sales to come in at 1.25 million while BMW is shooting for 1.4 million.

The most interesting Audi unveiling? The A2 concept. Small and ideal for congested roads, the A2 is equipped with what Audi calls Semi-Autonomous Drive, which will inch the car ahead for you in stop-and-go traffic. There is little doubt Audi has an A2 in the works. But given the compact-sized A2 shown here lacks actual doors, a production-ready A2 seems a far off into the future.

a Jaguar hybrid concept
Tata Motors’ Jaguar Land Rover unit had two Land Rover Defender models on display, along with a Jaguar hybrid concept. Yet the new-model buzz was muted by speculation over why Carl-Peter Forster, the Tata Motors CEO, had just quit due to “unavoidable personal circumstances.”

Jaguar’s global sales have declined for six straight months just as JLR is planning to invest $2.4-billion annually in new models and new facilities in Asia, especially China, making Forster’s departure a big, big deal.

Forster is the key architect of that plan to grow JLR’s products and global footprint and he’s now gone. In an industry where bosses are often outsized personalities, what does Forster’s skedaddle mean for JLR? Perhaps a lot.

That said, Jaguar’s C-X16 hybrid concept is a stunner: low, sleek, sexy and fast, this two-seater has a top speed of 299 km/h and suggests Jag has plans for a smaller sports car. High time, too.

the Land Rover DC100 concept
Meanwhile, there is a new Defender coming in 2015 and hints of what that will look like are in the Land Rover DC100 concept. Don’t rule out the next Defender coming to Canada, either. Now all JLR needs is a boss.

Many surprises at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show and the best German course for the avid car users jet set lifestyle. a lot of success happens there.

The first ride we’ve seen him spotted in is a nice matte black ferrari f430 (more badass than Shecklers for sure) with black wheels that have a thick red time attack stripe.
Justin Bieber in the car

TMZ also spotted Bieber in a 997 Porsche Turbo. It appears to be satin black (not matte) with a camel interior showing off the time-attacked gloss black wheels once again.

Even though the matte black look is a little played out, I congratulate Bieber on his choice of cars. I expected to see him rolling around in either a beige sebring convertible or an H2 with Ontario plates. Keep up the good work. Be careful in the way Justin, do not drag..!!!

Toyota Promotes US Commitment to NASCAR and its Fans

PhotobucketFeature the new Camry in Daytona at the season’s . Toyota US has come up with an interesting advertising campaign for the new 2012 Toyota Camry. To develop a sporty character for the new model, Toyota has put it up alongside a Toyota NASCAR in its latest advertisement. As part of the campaign, the 2012 Daytona 500 pace car will also be a 2012 Toyota Camry.

Using the Camry as the pace car for next year’s Daytona is a big statement by Toyota. For generations, the pace car has only ever been a large American muscle car. The only other non-American car to feature as the pace car in Daytona’s history was the Porsche 914 back in 1971. Ed Laukes, Toyota’s corporate manager of motorsports marketing, recently spoke about the Daytona campaign, saying

“We’re thrilled to be able to feature the new Camry in Daytona at the season’s biggest race. We think the Daytona 500 is the perfect place to showcase the all-new Camry, which will go on sale this fall.

“We knew when the opportunity arose to partner together with Daytona that it would be an extraordinary way to highlight our new Camry, as well as reinforce Toyota’s commitment to NASCAR and its fans.”

reinvented Camry and Camry Hybrid”

Toyota is serious about tapping into other, more sporty market segments with the new Camry, and is calling the new model the “reinvented Camry and Camry Hybrid”. But it’s not just about being sporty, Toyota also wants to maintain its lead in annual sales in the US, a market where the Toyota Camry has been the best-selling car (not including trucks) in 13 out of the past 14 years.

From next year, the US-spec 2012 Toyota Camry won’t be imported from Japan. Instead, it will be built at local production facilities as a way of becoming more independent from the Japanese operations. Toyota Japan is also doing this as part of its plan to make its production processes earthquake-proof.

New Tips Car Selling For eBay Motors

Car Selling Tips
New Tips Car Selling For eBay Motors. Selling a car through online is easy. because of time constraints we have. Whether it's because our work is not to interfere or any other reason. Everyday more and more people turn to eBay to buy and sell products online and eBay Motors, the branch of the company created to sell vehicles is no different.

I have bought and sold vehicles at eBay Motors and have had some great and some no so great experiences on both sides of the fence but either way it was always learning experience that helped me later on.Obviously if you’re trying to sell a car online at eBay Motors you’re probably looking for the best possible price. Here are a few tips that you can use to get the best price when selling your car online. First and foremost, you must clean and fully detail your car so that it appears as close to perfect as possible depending on its overall condition and you should never try to conceal any minor flaws.

When people are depending on pictures to buy a car they don’t want to guess what’s under the dirt or try to figure out how bad a flaw really is. Being brutally honest might net you a little less but it will prevent any headaches later on in the dealing process.Never try and skimp on your auction description and pictures. As mentioned earlier, people are buying a car and potentially spending a bunch of cash so if they see anything they don’t like they will pass your auction or listing in a heartbeat.

It is much better to take as many pictures as possible, a good rule of thumb is to provide as many pictures as you would like to see if you were the buyer. Also post them up as a slideshow or a collage and cover all the angles, don’t put up one picture and say email me for more, many people will not go through the trouble of requesting more photos for any mainstream model car.

I recommend that you take pictures of the following angles to help the potential car buyer understand what kind of shape your car is in. Keep your pictures flowing around the car to ensure you don’t miss anything and it will help the buyer realize that you’ve covered everything they’re looking for??? Start at the driver’s side and take a shot at an angle shooting toward the headlight but showing the entire driver’s side in the photo then move around the vehicle taking the side, rear, passenger, and then straight on front. Taking the long angles is very helpful to show that your car body is true and doesn’t have waves from a bad body job

Be sure to take close ups of any damage or flaws and point them out in your auction or listing description as well. Once you’ve covered the exterior of the vehicle take clear pictures of the interior including each of the seats, floor mats and under the floor mats, the headliner, and the dashboard. When you take a picture of the dashboard make sure you take a solo shot of the odometer to verify the mileage.Moving on you want to take pictures of the engine compartment which is why it is crucial that it has been detailed nicely.

One trick my friend uses that not many people think of is to take the dipstick out and take a close up of the oil to show that is fresh and clean. This might or might not help but the more you show the less hassle you’ll get in the selling process. Now that you have the exterior, interior and engine covered you will want to add some pictures of the under carriage of your car. This is becoming the more and more the norm when people are looking at used vehicles online, they want to ensure they aren’t missing anything.

To take away all their fears of damage and rust issues you should capture images of the front portion, mid portion and the back portion and make sure you include the muffler, catalytic converter and the wheel wells and any other areas that you feel should be covered. A lot of car enthusiasts will take shots with their wheels off to show the brake rotors or take shots of the shocks and so on but that’s up to you. You’ll usually see this if the seller is showing that they just changed or upgraded to new parts. The last tip I will recommend is something I think is extremely important for any sale but especially if you’re selling a classic or vintage car and that is the cars documents. That is the original owner’s documents and manual with any repairs and regular maintenance.

Also include any preventative maintenance documents like rust proofing or any improvements that you’ve made since buying the car.Provide your phone number and email so people can call or contact you with questions. If you make sure you answer any email or phone requests promptly and courteously and include what’s been outlined above, I’m positive you’ll get the best deal possible for your car without any major problems during the whole car selling process.

I hope useful this new tips car selling for eBay motors. see you..!!

Lost stolen car jhon Travolta unique vintage . losing things very dear to us must be very painful. let alone the goods are not in production anymore alias antiques . Many celebrities have an extensive car collection, sometimes including vintage cars. John Travolta is one celebrity who has, well had, a vintage car.

Had?

Yes. Sadly, someone made off with his Mercedes-Benz 280 SL. The theft happened while Travolta was at a car dealership scoping out new vehicles. Reports say he was inside the dealership for only 10 minutes. When he went back outside, he noticed it was missing from its Berkley Street parking lot and reported it missing.

Photobucket

There were no witnesses.

The car may not have been super unique, but it is still a bold choice for a thief. The car is estimated to be worth between $50,000 and $100,000. Not everyone can afford these kinds of vintage vehicles, so the thief should have taken into consideration that the person who owned the car definitely has the resources available to track down the thief.

a loss of vintage cars which is unfortunate, patient so, mr. Travolta. buy again ..!
